BELOW IS OUR INTIAL ROLLOUT OF THE PROGRAM AND IMPLEMENTED BY CURRENT PROFESSIONAL PITCHER JOHN MATTHEWS. IT WILL NOT BE SIMPLY A THROWING PROGRAM! IT WILL BE AN ALL ENCOMPASING PROGRAM RUN BY A PROFESSIONAL WHO UTILIZES THESE TOOLS EVERY DAY! IT IS APPLICABLE FOR ALL AGES AND SKILL SETS AND VERY COST EFFECTIVE COMPARED TO OTHER SIMILAR PROGRAMS.
SIGN UPS ARE FOR THE INTIAL DAY OF WORKOUTS AND YOUR 2ND DAY OF WORKOUTS WILL BE SCHEDULED BY YOU AND COACH MATTHEWS AS WE GET CLOSER TO CLASSES STARTING SO THAT HE CAN PUT TOGETHER THE SAFEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE PLAN POSSIBLE FOR THE PITCHERS. THIS 2ND WORKOUT DAY WILL MOST LIKELY BE ON ONE OF THE OTHER DAYS LISTED HERE TO GET YOU YOUR TWO DAY A WEEK WORKOUT (ie, MONDAY/WEDNESDAY, MONDAY/STAURDAY, WEDNESDAY/SATURDAY).
ELITE VELO PITCHING PROGRAM
THE ELITE VELO PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO BE AN ELITE PITCHING PROGRAM FOR THE ELITE MINDED PITCHER LOOKING TO DEVELOP VELOCITY, COMMAND, PRO LEVEL MECHANICS, SECONDARY PITCH DEVELOPMENT AND THE MENTAL PART OF PITCHING AS WELL AS STRENGTH TRAINING TO AID IN THE OVERALL DEVELOPMENT OF THE ATHLETE. THIS PROGRAM IS IMPLEMENTED BY JOHN MATTHEWS, CURRENT TEXAS RANGERS PROFESSIONAL PITCHER AND FORMER 8TH ROUNDER OUT OF KENT STATE AND THE STRENGTH TRAINING IS IMPLEMENTED BY JAKE BEITING, FORMER MLB HEAD STRENGTH COACH FOR THE HOUSTON ASTROS. THIS IS AN ALL ENCOMPASSING PROGRAM THAT GIVES THE PLAYER AN ADDED ADVANTAGE OVER OTHER PLAYERS COMPETING AT THE HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGIATE LEVELS. IF YOU HAVE THE DESIRE TO PITCH IN COLLEGE THIS PROGRAM IS A MUST! THIS IS NOT YOUR GARDEN VARIETY VELOCITY THROWING PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO MAKE YOU A BETTER PITCHER, NOT JUST HARDER THROWER!
The reality is that pitchers are throwing harder now because of programs like this but pitchers are also throwing less strikes and don’t do the small things well like hold runners, pitch backwards, exploit hitter weaknesses. College coaches want pitchers who throw harder, but if you cannot regularly get college hitters out it doesn’t matter how hard you throw, you will not pitch regularly!

ELITE VELO OVERVIEW
12 WEEK PROGRAM DATE RANGE: NOVEMBER 1ST- FEBRUARY 14TH
This date range gives our HS players the best chance to be ready for tryouts and the start of the HS season and carry their gains into competition.
Program Specifics
2 day per week in person pitching/velocity sessions
Sessions are roughly 90 minutes long
2nd day can be remote if player cannot make two days
player would have specific program to his needs to carry out on his own
Players work in small group sessions to promote competition and camaraderie
Days of the week depend on what options/days you sign up for

J Bands
Jaeger Bands have been around for 10-15 years and have been a staple for many baseball players getting and staying healthy, throwing harder and learning the importance of arm care.
Measure- Train- Perform Weightroom Assessment and Performance
Coach Beiting will put together and individualized program in conjunction with the your throwing program to maximize health and gains as it relates to pitching. Coach Jake utilizes Teambldr APP to upload individual programs that can be followed at home as well.
PROPLAY AI
Pitch AI will be used in conjunction with our spin rate and velocity measuring radar gun to help determine what mechanical adjustments we can make to help you perform better. This software is backed by Driveline and Prep Baseball Report as well as MLB teams. The technology is simple to use AND interpret!
PC 360 Powercore
The PC 360 is a belt system designed to teach explosiveness in both the lower and upper half of the body. The drills used help the player develop a better/quicker feel for how to maximize their energy while throwing.
